POPPA, Inc., is an ALL volunteer run 501(c)3 non-profit
organization that has worked since 2001 to reduce the number of homeless companion
animals in Oregon. Initially designed as a 10-year program, we have continued to help fund spay/neuter due to having received numerous donations from private individuals, grant organizations, municipalities--the City of Albany, employee payroll deductions, several charitable fund drives, and even been the beneficiary of an estate. We owe each and every one of these donors a HUGE thank you! And, we fully intend to keep spending their money until approximately July of 2013 when it is gone, as that is what they asked us to do!
Almost 18,000
companion animal spay or neuter surgeries throughout the state of Oregon have happened with POPPA's help since
Sept 2001. It was only in January of 2009 that we began limiting our programs to 'CATS ONLY' simply because their need was far greater. And, just since July 1, 2010, we have refocused our efforts on the needier counties of Linn/Benton and Yamhill due to their lacking low-cost spay/neuter options while the Portland Metro Area is now enjoying the largess of the Animal Shelter Alliance of Portland and their $10 Spay and Save program.
You can help save lives and prevent animal abuse and neglect by making

our online store or become a volunteer.
